1816 - The year without summer - by Ann Marie Linnabery

Kick off the fall 2025 Doug Walch Memorial Speaker series with Ann Marie Linnabery from the Niagara County History Center. She will present her program, "1816, and the year without a summer". An interesting and informative program about the global ramifications of volcanic activity in South-East Asia and how it affected weather, crop production and the life and death of people all over the world in the year of 1816 from the historical records. Our programs are provided to the community free of charge and we welcome all people from the town, village and surrounding areas to come and join us for a great event!
