How the event works:

Spunch = Satellite Punching - next generation MapSport. All you need is a phone and a free app: MapRun.

Visit marked checkpoints on the map, s-punch them with the app. How many can you visit in your chosen time?

Choice of 3 course duration options.

Run or walk. 3k to 33k. Suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, adventure runners, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for friends and families to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs welcome.

Venue:
Registration, Bag drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the venue.
Food and drink available after your run / walk, to be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors.

Extra deets

A great Spunch venue and area - we bring you the best bits of the town and surrounding countryside. Great running and walking in mostly green spaces as you pass through the town's parkland, heath, riverside trails and connecting streets with a few checkpoints in the towns bustling centre. Even locals may discover parts that they don't normally reach!

A particularly good one for families, friends and newcomers as the terrain is more "gentle" than some of our hillier outings. What better way to spend an afternoon or evening?
