As part of Macclesfield Male Voice Choir's 70th anniversary celebrations, they are supporting local charities at their concerts. On September 20th the choir and their guests Tricola Trio, will be singing and playing a wide range of music from hits from the 60s to 2000s, through film musicals to ballads and traditional music.
Their chosen charity is Hope Central, based in Handforth, who understand everyone needs a helping hand at some point. Their local Foodbank offers emergency support for individuals and then they have other wraparound services to help people with the underlying need, whether that be joblessness, life skills, budgeting or debt. They also run weekly drop-ins for people to access services and connect into community and weekly English lessons.
'Tricola Trio' is headed by MaccMVC's accompanist - Anna Chiu, and will play their versions of hits from the 60s to 2000s. The choir will be led by their Musical Director - Chris Cromar.
The event is at 19.30 on September 20th at St. Bartholomew's on Chancel Lane in Wilmslow. All are welcome and tickets are £15 (£6 for under 18s) and are available at the choir's website www.maccmvc.co.uk or email
