Bunks Across America: SHP’s Annual National Build Day
There will be 2 shifts, 9:00 AM - noon and 1:00-4:00 PM. When signing up, please be sure to select the proper time slot near the bottom.
We will join with 300+ other chapters across the country to build as many beds as possible for children in our community who do not have one of their own.
Bunks Across America is an annual event where local chapters nationwide participate in the largest bed-building event in a single day. Through local and national sponsorships, SHP can put a real dent in the national child bedlessness crisis.

The fairgrounds will open a concession stand between shifts for anyone who wishes to purchase food and offer discounted admission (TBD) to the Fall Classic Night at the Wilmot Speedway following the build.
This will be a "full" build. We will be cutting, sanding, drilling, assembling, staining, and branding! This will be an indoor and outdoor event. Please come prepared for the weather and wear appropriate clothing; clothing that you don't mind getting sandy, dusty, or stained.
