The Reverend Brenda Sing-Ota is an Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Brenda first found her calling in education, serving as an elementary school teacher.
Later in life, she answered God's call to ministry by becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Feeling the call to serve more, she earned her Master of Divinity in pastoral care and counseling at Cincinnati Christian University and Seminary and a Master's Degree from San Francisco State University in Counseling, specializing in marriage, family, and child, as well as college and career counseling.
Brenda has served as a Chaplain and Chaplain intern at the Lindner
Center of Hope in Mason, Twin Towers senior living community in
Cincinnati and Kettering Hospital-Main Campus in Kettering. Brenda has also served as Interim Pastor of Northside Christian Church in Cincinnati.
Brenda has served the Christian Church in Ohio as a member of the Visioning Committee, the Regional Assembly Planning Committee, the Pro-Reconciliation/Anti-Racism Commission, and is regularly called on to give keynotes and lead bible studies for the Advanced Conference at Camp Christian.
Brenda now resides in Baltimore, Maryland.
