Laity Sunday- Dave Henry, Speaker

Join us for Laity Sunday on January 18th at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Wilmington!

This special Sunday celebrates the gifts, leadership, and ministry of our congregation’s lay members. We are honored to welcome David Henry as our guest preacher for the morning.

Dave and his wife, Maggie, have been longtime members of First Christian Church, raising their now-adult children in the life and love of this congregation. Over the years, Dave has faithfully served in many leadership roles—including Moderator of the Mission Council and Elder—and continues to be a steady and compassionate presence within our church family.

Come worship with us as Dave shares a message of faith shaped by decades of commitment, service, and discipleship. All are welcome as we give thanks for the many ways God works through the laity of the church!
