Friday, September 12th 2025, Joy Emporium is hosting our 3rd Annual Joy Gala – This year’s theme ‘The Masked Singer!’ - a Live Band Karaoke and Masquerade at The Royal West - Willow Springs! Join us and Help support programs at our NEW Thrive Center at 14700 Kildare Avenue in Midlothian Illinois. Our Thrive Center currently serves as a Community Resource Center and Garden, housing our clothing pantry, furniture pantry, food pantry, community kitchen, counseling offices, computer lab & classrooms. We are currently installing ADA available showers and laundry facilities. We serve as a warming shelter, as well as host programs such as AA, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Kindness Campaign -Free Fresh Markets, as well as sign ups for Rapid Housing, WIC, and CEDA programs. We offer free educational events, classes and clubs throughout the year to promote positive mental health and personal growth in the community. We are creating a ‘Second Home’ and support system for members of our community to connect and take advantage of local services. We invite you to become a sponsor, guest and donor!
Since forming our 501c3 Charitable Organization in 2022 we have provided emergency support services, temporary housing, crisis intervention, youth & senior advocacy and distributed food, clothing and other resources to over 5000 members of our south suburban community. In 2024 we spent $44,210 on programming and emergency outreach efforts. From Q1 2024 to Q1 2025 our emergency outreach requests have tripled.
