Ever imagine yourself being a part of The Rocky Horror Show? Don’t dream it - be it! Check your tire for flats and time warp over to the Burton Leavitt Theatre to audition for The Rocky Horror Show!
Open auditions for ALL roles will take place Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12 from 6:30PM - 9:00PM. While you should plan to stay for the full time on the evening you audition, you do not need to attend both nights. This show is exclusively for performers ages 18+
We encourage you to bring a headshot and resume, but it is not mandatory. If you do not have a resume, please come prepared to list your prior theatrical experience for us.
Below is a timeline of what to expect at your audition:
Vocal Audition-
Please prepare to sing a one-minute snippet of a song from the show or in the style of The Rocky Horror Show. If not from the show, please bring sheet music for your selection.
Dance Audition-
All auditioners, regardless of the roles they are auditioning for, will be taught a brief choreographed number. Please bring appropriate, comfortable clothing.
Anyone who is not auditioning for a named role would be free to go following the dance audition.
Acting Audition-
Those auditioning for named roles will be provided sides from the script for cold readings.
While everyone will be given a chance to read for the roles they are interested in, please be aware you may be asked to read for a role you didn’t list unless you specified it as a role you would not accept on your audition sheet.
