Williamstown Area EMS would like to welcome the community to their third annual Trunk or Treat event being held at the Williamstown ambulance station!
Williamstown Area EMS will be hosting a trunk or treat event involving local first responders from the area. This event is focused on bringing the community together to meet their local first responders, become familiar and make relationships with them, and for everyone to have an amazing time together no matter what age while making life-long connections! It is important for the community to be aware of who their first responders are and being able to make a relationship with their first responders. This is a great way for your children to be more comfortable with first responders so they are calmer during interactions when there is an emergency. It is also a great way to have fun and a positive impact on the community outside of emergencies. This will also be a great opportunity for everyone to learn from first responders about their services, and to take a look inside first responding vehicles!
We will be serving hot dogs, snacks, and refreshments at the ambulance station during the Trunk or Treat event for a small fee. Everyone will have the opportunity to choose a hotdog, what type of snack they want, and beverage. The first responders attending will also be handing out candy and snacks to the trunk or treaters. People are encouraged to dress in their best costumes but are not required. This year we will be having a costume contest: best, scariest, cutest, funniest, and most detailed costumes will be chosen and will win a prize. We will also have a guessing eyeball gumball contest that someone will be able to win a prize, as well. For these contests, ages 0-17 years of age can participate. There will be various other games set up for all ages to play, as well! The drawing for the gumball guessing game will open at 6:00 pm and close at 7:00 pm, and the costume contest will open at 6:00 pm and will be closed at 7:30 pm. Donations will be accepted during the event if anyone wants to donate snacks or drinks to the rehab unit.
If there are any first responders interested in attending and want to be included in the Trunk or Treat, please reach out to Williamstown Area EMS. We encourage first responders to decorate their responding vehicles, but is not necessary. We also recommend dressing up in their first responder gear or a costume. We are hoping for a big turn out and for a great event!
This event will be held at the Williamstown Area EMS station in the parking lot of the ambulance and borough building. The event will occur on October 18th, 2025, and is open to the public from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. First responders participating in this event are recommended to arrive between 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
