RIP Ride is a gravel cycling event rooted in remembrance, resilience, and the quiet beauty of rural roads. Teams of two will chart their own course to connect pioneer cemeteries scattered throughout the fingers of Stephens State Forest, racing not just the clock but their own decision-making.
There is no marked course and no official route. One week before the event, teams will receive a list of required checkpoints that must be visited in any order. On race day, two additional mandatory stops will be randomly selected and announced, adding an element of chance that rewards adaptability and smart strategy.
Navigation, teamwork, and self-sufficiency are essential. This is a ride that values preparation, respect for the land, and the stories it holds. Come ready to think, ride, and earn every mile.
