"***August Focus: Support for Our Libraries
As we look ahead to the November ballot, our focus this month is on finding meaningful ways to support our local libraries. Libraries are vital community hubs — providing access to knowledge, technology, and a safe space for learning and connection.
The Friends of the Library will be holding a raffle soon to raise funds and awareness. Stay tuned for details and let’s come together to show our support!***
In Willard, we have a caring, like-minded group that meets monthly to connect, share, and support one another.
It’s a relaxed and welcoming space where conversation flows freely — a chance to reflect, recharge, and feel less alone in the midst of it all.
We’ve done light volunteering in the past, especially around the last election. Now, with the new administration raising serious concerns for many of us, we’re looking at ways to turn our concern into meaningful action.
Our focus moving forward is on community care and outreach.
We’re asking: What does that look like? What can we do together that truly matters, right here in our area?
You're invited to be part of this — whether you just want to listen, share ideas, or jump in and help.
No pressure. No politics. Just people who care.
Join us whenever you’re able. We’d love to have you."
* The meeting will take place at the picnic shelter behind the Willard Depot *
