Tending The Witch Wound: Exploring Power, Persecution, & Resistance Thru Applied Theater

This applied theater and somatic workshop uses Theater of the Oppressed and somatic practices to explore how historical and ancestral “witch hunts”—mechanisms of power, control, and collective silencing—continue to live in our bodies and communities today. Through image theater, interactive exercises, and embodied reflection, participants will uncover patterns of oppression, examine our responses to authority and injustice, and practice moving through fear into agency, voice, and creative power. This workshop is a space to process our inherited trauma, reclaim suppressed wisdom, and explore strategies for personal and collective empowerment and agency.
