Join our ninth Colonel Connection webinar on December 17 at 12:00pm, where we will be discussing "Supporting Internships as Alumni," led by Wilkes staff Jenna Weiss. Jenna will walk us through an appx. 30 to 40-minute presentation where you'll learn about the Wilkes Internship Program and the many advantages of hosting interns from your alma mater. You'll cover the requirements for hosting, how the program is structured, and highlight examples of successful student internships. After the presentation, she will take your questions about anything internship related.

About our speaker: Jenna Weiss brings nearly a decade of experience in workforce development to her role as Internship Coordinator at Wilkes. Her experience has given her first-hand insight into the value of mentorship and experiential learning, from the perspective of both mentee and mentor. Having hosted interns herself, Jenna is deeply committed to advocating for students’ professional development and growth in and outside of the classroom. In her third year at Wilkes, now serving both as Internship Coordinator and instructor for first-year students, she is dedicated to building partnerships and providing experiences that prepare students with the tools and confidence to thrive beyond the classroom.
