VE Day 80

2025 will mark 80 years since VE and VJ Day and on Saturday 10th May, we will celebrate and commemorate the anniversary with an event in Mesnes Park, Wigan, showing our gratitude to the men, women and children who dedicated their lives to the war effort.

Come along with your picnic, blanket and loved ones to enjoy the days entertainment by The Combined Bands of the Lancashire Artillery & Duke of Lancaster Regiments, and others.

There will also be military vehicles and displays, an artisan market, climbing Wall a fun fair and food & drink stalls.
