To Move, To Reclaim, To Reimagine: Dance Workshop with Samwel Japhet

It’s easy to feel stuck in the chaos of today. But movement reminds us the future is not fixed. Each step we take is a choice, to grow, to hope, and to rewrite our stories with compassion and possibility, not just for ourselves but for our communities.
This workshop is an invitation: to move, to feel, to speak without words, to celebrate life, to honor one another, to remember who we are and imagine who we might become.

We dance to resist. We dance to reclaim. We dance to remember. We dance to reimagine. May this dance be a step toward healing, toward reimagining the future, and toward embracing the strength found in the most unexpected places.

Samwel Japhet is a Tanzanian dance artist, choreographer, and social entrepreneur, who co-founded and runs the Tanzanian-based Nantea Dance Company.


This dance workshop is open for everyone, no prior knowledge required. It will be held in English, but is also accessible on a nonverbal basis.
