👥 Who can join? All ages welcome! Limited to 24 participants per foray, so book early.
🌲 What’s included: Take a guided walk through Dunnet Forest, discovering the hidden fungal life beneath our feet and in the trees. Together, we’ll:
🍄 Identify fungi in the field (using sight, smell, taste, and touch!)
🍄 Record our finds on iNaturalist
🍄 Learn how microscopy and DNA barcoding reveal fungal secrets
🍄 Explore the vital role fungi play in our planet’s ecosystems and in our daily lives
