This day in 1920 started the first Dry January... er I mean the Prohibition. Prohibition was a period in the United States from 1920 to 1933 banning alcohol, the result of a campaign led primarily by women, including our own Carrie Nation that infamously smashed the Carey House Bar at what would later be known as the Eaton Hotel (currently home to Bubbles!).
Sober living, dry January, or just sober curious? Here's an event for you! Cocktail bartending competition, NA wine tastings, CBD sippers, mushroom coffee samples, and more!
Off the wagon? Don't worry. The bar is open :P
