Make a Laser Engraved Tile

Bring in an image to be engraved on a glazed ceramic tile with the laser. This process works great with line art, logos, clip art, and simple high contrast photos.

Intermediate computer proficiency is recommended. Please bring a USB flash drive if you have one. We will import your image into GIMP software and edit the file to be engraved on a 4" x 4" tile with the laser at MakeICT.

This class does not require laser authorization. If you've never used a laser engraver before you can join us. If you need a refresher or just want to learn some alignment and centering tips you can also join us.
