Join us for a special extended paddle designed for those ready to go a little farther and experience a true adventure on the water! We’ll journey up Little Alamance Creek as far as conditions allow, stopping at the halfway point to raft up, enjoy lunch, share stories, and capture a few photos. On the return trip, we’ll keep an eye out for wildlife and wildflowers along the lakeshore.
This paddle covers approximately 5.2 miles round trip and lasts 3–4 hours. Because of the distance, participants should be at least confident and fit beginners, comfortable maneuvering a kayak with some prior experience. This experience is not suitable for first-time or nervous paddlers. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch.
Bring your own kayak ($10.50) or rent one of ours ($25.00). An experienced guide will lead the group on the lake and help folks in/out of boats as needed.
Fee includes guide, kayak rental, paddle, PFD. For ages 18 and up.
