Paws Place Rescue Inc. is excited to announce that beginning December 12th, our Animal Welfare Meet-Ups will now be permanently hosted at the Whitney Public Library. This allows us to better serve our community, provide reliable education, and create a consistent space for animal-related resources and discussions.

❤️ What We Will Discuss
Each month, we will cover important topics affecting Lake Whitney, Hill County, and our surrounding communities, including:
• The 300+ stray animals found in Hill County this year and what that means for our area
• How to navigate stray laws and “found animal” protocol
• Affordable spay/neuter options
• How to report animal neglect or cruelty
• Barn cat programs & feral cat management
• Responsible pet ownership
• Local resources for vet care, wildlife, and emergencies
• Opportunities to volunteer, foster, or get involved
• Updates on new programs like Pets & Vets, Caregiver Rehoming, and community partnerships

🐕🦺 Why We Are Here
Our mission is simple:
To educate, support, and empower our community so we can reduce the stray crisis, keep pets safe, and improve overall animal welfare in the Lake Whitney area.
We believe that when a community is informed, compassionate, and connected, animals get a better chance at life.
