Adopt-A-Beach Cleanup in Shelter Cove

Did you know? September is Coastal Cleanup month, and all across the state people will be coming together to remove litter and debris from shorelines and waterways to protect delicate marine ecosystems and aquatic life. You can lend a hand and help keep our local beaches pristine! Join FOLC for our last Shelter Cove Adopt-a-Beach Cleanup of the year on Saturday, September 13th, from 9:30AM-12PM! We’ll meet at Mal Coombs Park to pick up supplies (gloves, buckets for recyclables, trash pickers and bags) before heading down the boat ramp to the beach.

We also have a limited number of youth stipends available for young stewards ages 10-17, with preregistration. For ocean safety purposes, volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the cleanup.
