Volunteer with Us! Your State Parks Day - 2025

Be a part of our biggest volunteer day of the year! Join thousands of volunteers across the state as we give back to our parks on one important day. The Friends of Chatt Bend have four events that you can pick from: Installing plants at front gate (great for families with small children), removal of silt fencing (great for corporate partners), removal of Dog Fennel from wildflower beds(s) and Bumblebee Survey (great for families with older children/teenagers).

To register click on the link under tickets and then select Chattahoochee Bend State Park from the list. Once registered, meet us at the Park Visitor Center on September 27 where we'll split up for the various projects.

**NOTE** - If you'd like to participate in the Bumblebee Survey, it's suggested that you watch the following videos on how to net a bumblebee and transfer it to a vial:
