Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, un-choreographed dance practice where participants move to music without specific steps, focusing on present-moment awareness and expressing emotions through movement, in a safe, sacred, and sober environment. Our events are open to all levels and people.
Oct and Nov dances will be taking place at Centred yoga studio, 120 D industrial Rd (next to the Herbery).
Our facilitator will be the one, the only, Devaki Thomas! Anyone who was at the last dance they facilitated (or any of the other amazing offerings they offer) will know what a treat this will be!
We will start with Somatic Meditation and lead into a wave of drum-heavy music…a flavour of world music….with Live Drum and Voice accompaniment 🎶❤️
Entry is a sliding scale: $20 (regular income) $15 (budget friendly) $25 (feeling abundant)
