Join us for an evening of art, community, and Montana spirit! Our Featured Artist of the Month, Laurel Ovitt, is a 4th-generation Montana native whose one-of-a-kind rock slab paintings are inspired by the natural beauty, colors, and patterns of the earth itself.
Laurel’s philosophy—“Everyone should own a piece of original art”—guides her mission to make creativity accessible to all. A lifelong rockhound, fossil enthusiast, and member of the Butte Gem and Mineral Club, she finds inspiration in Montana’s natural world, farm living, and her passion for preserving local art.
Come meet Laurel, explore her stunning artwork, and enjoy our community cowboy potluck. Bring your favorite dish, share a meal, and connect with friends while celebrating the arts in Whitehall!
