The Sustainable Housing for Artists and Creatives Co-operative (SHACC) is hosting a deeply meaningful Eulogy Writing Workshop, designed to help participants explore storytelling as a way to honor and celebrate the lives of our loved ones 💞.
✨ Facilitated by experienced Funeral Celebrant Carol Leen Huish, the workshop will introduce participants to:
📖 Death literacy🌹 The role of funeral ceremonies🤝 The power of co-creating opportunities to mark life transitions with authenticity and care
Attendees will learn how to craft a heartfelt eulogy using storytelling techniques—capturing memories, anecdotes, and the spirit of those they wish to commemorate. “📝 Writing a eulogy is one of the most heartfelt acts of remembrance, by drawing on story, we keep alive the essence of our loved ones, creating ceremonies that celebrate not only their lives but the impact they leave behind.”
This workshop is part of the lead-up to SHACC’s annual Halloween with Heart 🖤🎭, a celebration that balances reflection, community, participation and creativity.
