Session 1: Build your own Armature

Ever wondered how professional stop-motion characters stay steady while moving frame by frame? In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own stop-motion puppet using aluminum wire and epoxy putty. We’ll cover how to design a sturdy armature, add joints for smooth movement, and make a base so your puppet can be bolted down during animation, no more toppling characters mid-scene! This workshop is perfect for young animators who want to go beyond simple figures and build custom characters from the inside out.
