This isn't your kids' spelling bee!
Join us on Saturday, June 7th for the Friends of the Ohio County Public Library's Spelling Bee for Grown-ups Fundraiser! (Note: While our participants will all be grown-ups, our Bee will not include profane words. But, more importantly, there will be plenty of adult beverages, food by Chef Z & E & coffee available for purchase!) Doors open at 12:30 PM
The Spelling Bee for Grown-ups will feature 10 pre-registered teams of 2 to 6 adults attempting to spell words with varying degrees of difficulty. Our judge, FOCPL President Chuck Julian, is on hand to … well … judge the teams. Rosemary Ketchum will be our emcee to keep the bee lively!
Team Registration is $100 (per team, not per person!) - Make sure to answer the question and include your team name & team captain.
Not sure of your spelling skills? Buy a general admission ticket for just $10 and watch the fun. Your admission ticket also includes your FOCPL membership for a year!
Audience members are invited to drink and snack while cheering on the spellers and maybe even helping out your favorite team by purchasing a "skip a word" and "spell again" option. Sound like fun? It's un-bee-lievably entertaining and all for a good cause!

PARKING
There is limited parking in the back of the Scottish Rite Cathedral and plenty of street parking.
