The Sexual Assault Help Center invites you to step back in time and join us for our annual R.O.A.R. event, an unforgettable night where glamour meets purpose.
Slip behind the velvet curtain and into a Roaring ’20s–inspired speakeasy, complete with lively music, delicious food, a cash bar, exciting auctions baskets, a 50/50 drawing, and more surprises waiting to be uncovered. It’s an evening of celebration, connection, and impact. The password of the night will be "I'm ready to ROAR!"
All proceeds directly benefit child and adult survivors of sexual violence, supporting vital advocacy, crisis services, and healing resources in our community.
This year, we are proud to present our Empower Award to the incredible Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) of WVU Medicine's Wheeling Hospital. These compassionate, highly trained nurses go above and beyond for every survivor who walks through their doors—providing expert medical care, dignity, and unwavering support during some of the most difficult moments of a victim’s life. Their dedication truly embodies empowerment, and we are honored to recognize their life changing work.
