This contemplative program invites you to step into a journey of inner and collective transformation through the ancient and soulful practice of walking the labyrinth, guided by the teachings of Active Hope.
Using Joanna Macy’s Spiral of the Work That Reconnects as our guide, we will reflect on themes such as gratitude, honoring our pain for the world, seeing with new eyes, and going forth with renewed clarity and courage.
Through guided exercises, personal reflection, and shared conversation, we will engage with the labyrinth as a living metaphor—one that mirrors both the inner terrain of the self and the collective path toward a more life-giving future. This experience offers a grounding in spiritual practice, connection, and active hope in the face of uncertainty.
Weather permitting, portions of the program will take place outdoors, deepening the experience through the beauty and stillness of nature. The practice includes gentle movement and walking, so participants should feel comfortable with light physical activity. To foster both shared insight and individual spaciousness, this program is limited to 10 participants.
Whether you are longing for clarity, renewal, or a way to respond to the challenges of our time with compassion and intention, this program offers a sacred space for reflection, courage, and hope.
No prior experience with the labyrinth—or with Active Hope—is necessary.
Our morning ends at noon, but you are welcome to bring a lunch and stay for more conversation together on the patio in the St Clare Garden
