Yule Ritual, Feast & Community Celebration with Pagan Poetry hosted by The 9 Collective
Honor the Return of the Light · Feast in Fellowship · Celebrate the Turning of the Wheel
As the longest night of the year embraces the earth, we gather in warmth and reverence to welcome the rebirth of the Sun. Join us for a sacred Yule ritual honoring the ancient winter solstice—where darkness softens, spirit deepens, and light begins its journey home to us.
Yule is one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world, rooted in ancient Norse and Germanic traditions. Long before modern holidays, this sacred time marked the Winter Solstice—the moment when the sun stands still, and the promise of returning light is born.
Historically, Yule was a season of:
Honoring the Sun’s rebirth and the turning of the Wheel. Calling warmth, protection, and renewal into the home, Feasting, sharing, and blessing the community, Bringing evergreens inside to symbolize life enduring through winter. Lighting candles and fires to welcome back the light.
This sacred observance carried communities through the deepest winter with magic, unity, and hope for centuries.
On this night we will…
Honor the earth, ancestors, and the turning season. Share a communal blessing at the Yule fire,Feast together in celebration and gratitude.
We will create personal Yule Logs to take home! Each participant will craft a traditional Yule log, adorned with evergreen, ribbon, herbs, and intention to burn or keep as a blessing of protection and renewal.
Wrap yourself in warmth, candlelight, and the enchantment of winter. Bring your intentions, your heart, and hope to share as we weave community, tradition, and magic around the sacred table.
This night is for reconnection—
with the earth, with each other, and with the spark within returning to life.
All are welcome.
Come as you are, leave nourished in soul and spirit.
All supplies and food is included in your ticket price. All tickets are final sale. There is a large free parking lot directly outside. There will be scented candles and herbs burning inside the venue.
