What’s included: 8-year-old organic sourdough starter, focaccia recipe, focaccia dough to take home and bake, sourdough snacks, new friends and fun.
What to expect: You will make your own sourdough focaccia dough to take home and bake the next day. Please be sure you have 10 minutes the following morning to transfer your dough to a 9x13 baking dish, preferably stainless steel. You can also use a large cast iron circular pan. You will need to wait 5-7 hours (for the second proof on Sunday) before baking your focaccia, so plan accordingly. You will also learn how to care for and feed your starter. If you K*ll your starter, I will supply you with a new one!! I’m also happy to share any/all recipes and to be your sourdough guide throughout your new journey! Sourdough doesn’t have to be hard, only delicious! 🙂
Supplies to bring: large glass bowl, food scale, wooden spoon. I will also have a scale you can use if you don’t bring one! Everything else needed will be supplied for you.
Ingredients to bring: Flour (unbleached organic all-purpose recommended), salt (sea salt recommended). Everything else needed will be supplied for you.
