Magic <3 not illusion, not trickery, but the subtle weave of unseen forces that coalesce when intention, mystery, and presence align. The spark between worlds, the whisper of the unseen touching the seen. Magic, the sacred yes of the cosmos, bending time and space to meet our soul’s longing when the heart is true and the will is clear.
Divine <3 of origin, of essence, of the infinite intelligence that dreams galaxies and hummingbirds into existence. It is what we sense before name is given, before thought is organized, and lives inside the breath and beating soul of all creation. The Divine pulses continuously in the quiet and the chaos alike. The spaces in-between.
So what is Divine Magic? They are the words that arose when I heard of our DJ's pink church that he will be living in... the place of new thought, no previous thought~ arising within the unmet spaces of the numinous ... something to be explored more than defined.
It is the holy mischief of the universe expressing itself through me, through each one of us.
When the veil thins ~ in dance, in ritual, in music, in devotion and suddenly everything is more alive with purpose, with mystery. The mundane becomes mythic. The altar is our living prayers taking shape. The circle becomes a portal. Our body's a sanctuary of reception, alchemical response and transmission.
In the non-ordinary reality of ecstatic states whether through dance, rhythm, breath, or song we court the presence of divine magic. We drop the ego, the personality, the conditioned ways of being, responding, doing. Divine Magic is less something we summon like a servant. It arrives more like a deer in the forest ~ shy, mysterious, ~only willing to come near when we are tuned in enough to notice... sincere, still. Spellbound within the whole of everything.
Be the altar,
Be the dance,
Open to the music.
So we circle, we sing, we build beauty. Not to conjure the Divine like a spell, but to meet it halfway.
And when it meets us — when Divine Magic enters the space — oh, how the air changes. Eyes shine brighter. Hearts open wider. The ordinary reveals itself as extraordinary.
And we remember, perhaps, a forgotten part of our nature. |
