Samara Nicholas MNZM is Co-Director and Marine Lead at the Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust. A PADI Divemaster, public speaker, Seaweek Ocean Champion and award-winner (including NZOM and Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leader), Samara has been at the forefront of marine conservation in Aotearoa since founding the national programme Experiencing Marine Reserves (EMR) back in 2001.
