Myths & Legends with Joe Brennan

Suitable for Adults & Children ages 12+

Storyteller Joe Brennan will regale his audience with a selection of the original legends and folk tales that inspired some of the worlds best loved operas.

Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde and Puccini’s Turandot are just two such operas. Even Shakespear’s Romeo and Juliet, also an opera by Charles Gounod,is based on the popular folk tale in his day, The Hill of Roses.

Joe will bring the drama of these stories to life in what will be an insightful and entertaining event, for opera loves and those who love a good story well told.

Joe Brennan has been telling stories to people of all ages for the past 25 years, both here in Ireland and abroad.
