Tiger Chats Welcomes Ronnie Baynes

Ronnie Baynes built Tallassee baseball into a championship dynasty, winning state titles in 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990 and 1991. Add a runner-up finish in 1985 and his Tallassee teams advanced to the championship round six times in a seven-year run.

Baynes was an SEC and NFL official for 26 years, a line judge in 2 Super Bowls and a member of officiating crews for three NFC and one AFC Championship Games. He has been the Supervisor of NFL Officials since 2001. He played at Auburn University where he was a three-year starter on the football team and a two-year starter on the baseball team.
