Riverwood presents Charls Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"


When: Sunday, December 14th 2pm-4pm

Where: Riverwood Winery Auditorium

Get into the Christmas Spirit while you watch a quartet of talented actors present a live staged reading of Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol!" Local actors Scott Cox, Wayne Day, Patrick Simpson and Dawn Stevenson, dressed in period costumes, will bring the words of Charles Dickens to vivid life on the Riverwood stage as they present the timeless holiday favorite.

Join Ebenezer Scrooge on his haunted journey through Christmases past, present, and future. Your ears will be delighted by Dickens' prose and your heart will be warmed by this classic tale which never grows old.

Bring your friends and family and relax in the cozy auditorium with a bottle of wine or a warm mug of hot spiced wine and listen to the story you know and love. Enjoy an outstanding live theater event!

Our kitchen will be open for this event. NOTE: Food orders to the kitchen must be placed no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Please plan to arrive early enough to make your wine and food selections. You are also welcome to bring our own picnic.

Tickets are $25.00/person ($22.50 for Wine Club Members) and must be purchased in advance. Wine Club Members, to get your tickets and discount, please call the Winery at 816-579-9797 during business hours. When purchasing tickets please let us know how many people will be with your group and the names of your group members. We will do our best to arrange tables to accommodate your group, but we cannot guarantee seating placement.

Tickets are nonrefundable but can be transferred to someone else. Tickets will not be shipped -- Just check in with our staff in the Tasting Room when you arrive for the event.
