Welcome everyone to Maryland’s first event of 2026, Flight to the Ford II! This event will be a 650-point, four round event following the rules from the matched play guide. Each round will be a different pool from the matched play guide and each round will be 1.75 hours. We will be following the rules from the matched play guide for time and at the end of 1.75 hours, time will be called and each player will finish their current turn, then will put dice down and determine the score of their game.
We will be using the veto rules for each round where each player will roll a dice and the player who rolled the lowest will veto the first scenario, the player who rolled the highest will veto the second scenario, then the player who rolled the lowest will roll a dice to determine which of the remaining two scenarios are played.
At the end of lunch, we will vote on the best painted good/evil model. At the end of the four rounds, the top three players will receive trophies and the top 25% of the players will receive store credit. We will be having pizza and breadsticks for lunch which will be paid from the entry fee.
At the end of the tournament, trophies and store credit will be given to the players with the best good/evil painted model, the Gimli Award to the champion who killed the most models throughout the tournament, and the “Grey Pilgrim” award to the player who traveled the farthest to the event.
