Thursday, March 12 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Nankin Mills Interpretive Center, 33175 Ann Arbor Trail, Westland 48185
Dressed as lumberjacks, our educators will present this history in an interactive presentation, then we walk outside to tap a maple tree. Dress for the weather, the hike is up to a half mile and can be slippery or muddy.
The fee is $6.00 per student ($7 per student if out of county) and is recommended for ages five and older. Siblings younger than five may attend for free, but trail is not stroller friendly. Chaperones are free.
Pre-registration is required by calling (734) 261-1990 or by visiting Nankin Mills Interpretive Center, which is open 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Saturday (closed Noon-1:00 PM for lunch).
For more information, call (734) 261-1990.
