City of Westlake Community Run

The City of Westlake Community Run, a special event for the entire family, is hosted by the Recreation Department and held in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Wellness Day. Join us for a run or walk through the beautiful City of Westlake and then enjoy the Fair! The race begins and ends on the Recreation Center Campus. There will be a timed 5K Run and Speed Walking Division, along with an untimed 1-Mile Walk starting at 8:30 am. We also have a free Kids Dash for children aged 8 and under, which will kick off at 8:15 am before the main race.

For the first 200 registered participants in the main run/walk, event goodie bags are guaranteed. All Kids Dash participants will receive a race medal. Post-race refreshments, fruit, raffle prizes, and awards pick-up will be available at the DJ booth.

As a special treat, we are hosting a pancake breakfast from 9 am to 11 am following the race. Each paid registration comes with a free ticket, and all children aged 5 and above are welcome.
