Have you been wanting to take classes with us, but downtown is too far away? Good news, Latin Expressions is expanding to Westfield! We’ll be launching classes at Aurelia Dance Studio starting every Thursday in February!
Whether you’re brand new to Latin dancing or an experienced dancer, this is your chance to learn, dance, and build community! No partner is required to attend classes since we rotate around during the class. So come as you are and be ready to step into this experience! More details below.
🗓️ When: Thursdays in February (2/5, 2/12, 2/19, and 2/26)
🕺🏻 Intro to Salsa: On2 New York Style - 7pm-8pm
Learn how to dance salsa from scratch, but with a New York flare! In this class, you’ll learn the foundations of salsa dancing, while incorporating musicality and technique unique to New York style. This will be a distinct experience with variations from the downtown salsa track, so this a perfect class for beginners and for experienced dancers!
💃🏻 Intro to Bachata - 8pm-9pm
Learn the foundations of bachata with an emphasis on both traditional and modern techniques!
🕺🏾 Instructor: Mando González
These classes will be led by Mando González, Latin Expressions’ longest-tenured instructor outside of the owner. Dancing with the studio since 2017, Mando brings an authentic salsa and bachata experience with a strong emphasis on technique, history, and connection.
