Please prepare no more than 32 bars of a song that showcases your vocal range. No traditional show tunes unless they are from a rock-style musical. A rock song is preferred.
Bring your own instrumental music track with no vocals. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided. Also, bring a recent headshot and wear comfortable clothing. Be prepared to learn a dance routine; all roles will be required to dance.
Bring a detailed list of all schedule conflicts from July 22 through October 5. No more than 7 conflicts will be accepted. No absences will be allowed starting the week before tech. Tech begins Saturday, Sept 13.
For Callbacks Only: If possible, dress in a way that reflects the character you are being called back for. Use what you have available and do your best with what you have. If this presents a challenge, please contact the director in advance.
Rehearsals will begin the Monday following auditions. Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday from 7:00-9:30 pm.

ABOUT THE SHOW
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
ROLES TO BE CAST (All roles are open)
Dr. Frank-N-Furter
Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor (D3–G4, sometimes up to A4)
Dr. Frank-N-Furter is a self-absorbed, flamboyant mad scientist who breaks every boundary of sexuality and morality.
Brad Majors
Vocal Range: Tenor (Bb2–G4)
Brad begins as a typical "square" — a conservative, traditional, and polite man, who values order and propriety.
Janet Weiss
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano belting role (A3–E5)
Janet, Brad's fiancée, initially embodies innocence and naivety, but her transformation mirrors her exploration of sexual liberation.
Riff Raff
Vocal Range: High Rock Tenor (B2–B4)
Riff Raff is Frank-N-Furter’s devious, resentful servant.
Magenta
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano mezzo belting role (Bb3–Eb5)
Magenta, Riff Raff’s sister and fellow servant, shares his disgust for Frank’s extravagance and decadence.
Columbia
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano belting roler (E4–G5)
Columbia tap dances. Actresses should be prepared to tap dance during the callback and will need to bring tap shoes.
Columbia is a groupie with a fun-loving, carefree attitude, but she has suffered heartbreak from Frank’s manipulative ways.
Rocky Horror
Vocal Range: Tenor (A3–G4)
Rocky is the physical embodiment of Frank-N-Furter’s ideal man: muscular, handsome, and innocent. Actor must be blond or willing to become blond.
Eddie
Vocal Range: Baritone (E3–F#4)
Eddie is a rebellious rock ‘n’ roll biker and former lover of both Columbia and Frank-N-Furter.
Dr. Everett Scott
Vocal Range: Baritone (E3–F#4)
Dr. Scott is Brad and Janet’s mentor and Eddie’s uncle.
The Narrator
Vocal Range: Spoken (non-singing)
The Narrator serves as a detached observer, guiding the audience through the bizarre events of the story.
Phantoms (ENSEMBLE)
Vocal Range: Varies (typically SATB: Soprano D4–B5, Alto G3–D5, Tenor C3–A4, Bass G2–E4)
The Phantoms are the background ensemble characters who serve Frank-N-Furter, Riff Raff, and Magenta. Dressed in various eccentric costumes, the Phantoms engage in much of the singing and dancing during the musical numbers.
Versatile singers and dancers who add atmosphere and help drive the energy of the show.
