ArtWorks Westfield invites local and regional artists, authors & creators of all stripes to our monthly Artists Sharing & Discussion Group - a welcoming space to connect, share, and celebrate creativity together in the heart of the Downtown Westfield Cultural District!
What to Expect:
*** Showcase your art: Bring up to two pieces-finished or in progress-and share your unique creative process.
*** Engage in meaningful dialogue: Receive thoughtful feedback and hear what draws others to your work and the emotions it inspires.

About the Facilitator:
Local artist and instructor Alexandra Walters leads the group. With extensive experience in regional public art projects, Alexandra fosters a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment for all participants.

Discussion Group Host: Alexandra Walter
Alexandra Walters is a contemporary, multi-media artist who has been an active participant in local, regional, and national shows for over 25 years.
She received her B.A. in Art from Westfield State College, with a concentration in Fine Art. Alexandra has been a board member of the Academic Artists Association, the Rockport Art Association’s Experimental Art Group, and the Tobacco Valley Art Association.
She maintained the Serendipity Art Studio at the Indian Orchard Mills for sixteen years, where she taught group classes and private art lessons in several media. She has exhibited widely, winning awards in local and national shows.
Alexandra has an extensive background in many roles in the local art community: she has served as a judge at several local art shows, led workshops in several media, and has been a popular demonstrating artist at many regional art associations.
