Love & Feathers - Documentary Screening & Reception

The Lanterman Family and the Olean Center present a very special screening of the new short documentary film Love and Feathers followed by a reception with lite bites, refreshments, and live music from the band Starling whose song “Love and Feathers” is featured in the film.

In Love and Feathers, Special Olympics athlete (and Westerly resident) Jesse Lanterman prepares for her upcoming competition in her usual ways: working her salon job, bowling with friends, and searching for the juiciest strawberry in her garden. Filmed by the subject’s cousin, this week-in-the-life short documentary offers an intimate profile that champions the tenderness of cousinly love.
