One man show: Life beyond reason

Life Beyond Reason is a one man show starring Custer County resident Scott Mischnick

Synopsis: Life Beyond Reason begins with a ski crash, sparking a series of life-changing events in the relatively stable life of Kevin, a middle-aged lawyer who put aside his dreams at the start of his career with the promise that one day he'd come back to them. Starting with a vision of a revolutionary theatre production, Kevin throws himself into a series of impossibilities that finally lead him to face a deep truth about who he is and why impossible beckons him so strongly.

Based on the true story of Westcliffe resident Kevin Rhodes, Life Beyond Reason draws a compelling picture of mania, obsession, and hope in hopeless situations. The show is written and directed by Kevin's daughter, Gillian, now an international artist.
