As many of you know, on June 19th, Cody was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. It's a phone call no one should receive. After being life-flighted, these past few weeks have been a whirlwind, especially for Jon and Brenda. Cody suffered 4 broken ribs, 5 vertebrae, a left broken wrist (his dominant hand), and a shattered pelvis. He recently had surgery to repair his shattered pelvis with plates and pins. After a stay in rehab the work begins in healing and learning to walk again.
Sean, his sister in law Becca, along with his parents, have prepared the house for his transition as he is in a wheelchair and will be for quite a bit, and they are working through homecare preparation. With the inability to work, mounting medical bills, and medical equipment that was needed to be purchased, we are reaching out to those who know, love, and care about Cody for help. Our gentle giant would give the shirt off his back for anyone, and he needs us more than ever. It takes a village and Any small amount helps to take some of the burden away from Cody so he can focus on getting his strength back and back on his feet.
We the Ware River Dart League are hosting a benefit at St Stan’s in West Warren Ma on September 27th 2025 at 1pm and ask everyone to join us for food, raffles, an LOD for darts and lots of fun. Let’s show Cody just how much we all love him.
