2025 marks the 50th year of CT-4 operations in Australia. Come and CELEBRATE!
****SAVE THE DATES****AND STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS***
Please note, this post is to gauge interest. Event is still TBC.
The Airtourer Association is dedicated to the preservation and continued airworthiness of not only the Airtourer but derivative designs, including the CT-4 Airtrainer.
This year, the Association is devoting its annual President’s Fly-in to celebrate the CT-4, in Tamworth, home of so many of Australia’s CT-4 fleet for some 27 years.
A full weekend of activities is being planned, including a formation fly-past, gala dinner with guest speaker Don McNaught, an “elephant walk”, CT-4 film evening, talk by Cliff Tait (via Zoom from New Zealand), and cargo-holds more. Stay tuned as more exciting events over the weekend are in the planning stages!
The one and only Aircruiser ever built (and once known as the CT-2), will be flying in, meaning you get the chance to see the unicorn predecessor of the Airtrainer. Perhaps you’ll even get to park your CT-4 under the famous shadecloth or participate in the elephant walk or formation (if you’re endorsed, of course)!
It’s not necessary to be an Association member to attend the event, but we hope you’ll have such a great time that you’ll want to sign up - we’re an aviation-enthusiastic mob. (Ask about our formation camps!)
Registrations open in August, however, clear your calendar, save the date, check your MR, and spread the word amongst the CT-4 enthusiast community! Anyone can attend, and the more the merrier.
