About the event

Giant Ledge & Panther Mountains

Panther Mountain is one of the required winter peaks for membership in the 3500 Club. While Panther is mellower than some of the other Catskill high peaks, you should still expect a good workout as we cover 6 miles with nearly 2200 feet of ascent, including going over Giant Ledge twice on the way to and from Panther. The views are always spectacular from both Giant Ledge and Panther Mountains. You will need to bring snowshoes and traction devices. Joint with 3500 club. Registration by March 9.
