Lung Cancer Benefit for Jay Ferris

For those who do not know, Jay Ferris was recently diagnosed with Lung cancer and we, as his family and friends, are putting together a benefit for him to help cover medical expenses as well as travel expenses for appointments. He has been a member of the area his whole life and as well as a member of the local IBEW Local 13 for over 30 years as a dedicated union electrician. He has traveled all over the US, as far as the St, Croix, US Virgin Islands. The event will take place January 17th at the Hitching Post in West Point, IA (see address above). We will be having a silent auction, free will donation meal, and entertainment. There will be a bar available on site. Jay is definitely one to go above and beyond for anyone and everyone that is in need of help. It is our turn to return the favor to him in his time of need. He will begin treatments the beginning of December. Please stay tuned for updates and fun things we have planned!!
