Dariia Lytvishko Organ Recital

International concert organist Dariia Lytvishko will perform a recital of expressive and technically challenging works for organ, showcasing her unique personality which has made her one of the fastest rising stars in the field of pipe organ concerts. She plays a wide range of repertoire, including familiar masterworks and also transcriptions from opera and movies. She has also played many pieces written for her to premiere, as well as arrangements of pieces from her native Ukraine. Her recital of just over an hour will be performed on the world's largest church organ, numbering over 23,500 pipes spread throughout the gothic Cadet Chapel of West Point. The recital is free and open to the general public, provided through the Class of 1936 Distinguished Organists endowment. Entry onto West Point is with Department of Defense ID or a Visitor's Pass, which may be obtained at the Visitor Control Center, 2107 New South Post Road, West Point, NY 10996. The process for obtaining a pass may be expedited by filling out an application for a Local Area Credential (LAC) in advance.
