🎶 Community Author Event at Hawkes Library 🎶

Join us at Hawkes Library for a special afternoon with Dr. Toni Anderson, award-winning author of Tell Them We Are Singing For Jesus, winner of the 2011 Georgia Author of the Year Award in History.

Dr. Anderson will share the remarkable story of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, whose powerful performances carried spirituals across continents as they worked to raise funds to sustain their university and preserve an enduring musical and cultural legacy.
